Low GWP AHU integrated heat pump

A low GWP is an essential component in the drive to net zero. For AHU integrated heat pump units the GWP of the refrigerant is often considered to be the most important factor in a unit selection. Our CPD evaluates the whole unit GWP by calculating the emissions associated with the fan and compressor inputs and the associated CO2 emissions. It established that a whole unit approach is fundamental to minimising the whole unit GWP.

ERP Compliant & Energy Efficient Air Handling Units

“A three part presentation which starts with the mandatory legal requirements for air handling units and goes on to demonstrate how the running costs and associated carbon emissions can be reduced by intelligent design of the mechanical elements and further reduced by the use of intelligent controls. We conclude with evaluation the impact on capital costs of the equipment with a view to demonstrating that optimised energy efficiency reduces the total cost of installation. The content also demonstrates how the optimal solution delivers BREEAM credits. Running costs and carbon emissions are calculated using our Eurovent audited Life Cycle Cost program for a nominal London location.”
